Türkiye Part I - Fethiye and the Turquoise Coast
We are wrapping-up a delightful month-long stay in Fethiye (pronounced feh·tee·euh), Türkiye; which is a Mediterranean coastal town popular for sailing, british expats, and hiking. Fethiye has history dating back to the 5th century BC and has been inhabited by ancient Lycians, Greeks, Persians, Byzantines, and Ottomans. All of whom have left successive remnants of their civilizations that can be explored throughout the area.

Queretaro is Pueblo Magicos in central Mexico where we got to spend a week. In addition to taking in wine, cheese, and beautiful aqueducts we took the week to plan our trip to Denver and the weeks following.

CDMX the city in the valley, 6th largest city in the world, and a great spot for us to call home for a few weeks!
Guadalajara Mexico 2021
Our next stop was the city of Guadalajara to Visit Freddy, Eme, Linc, Cal and all of Freddys family. We stayed with Freddys dad in Zapopan. The greater GDL metro area is 5m people and was founded in 1542.
Merida
Our next stop on our journey was the city of Merida, one of the most family friendly cities I have seen in my life.
Valladolid
Valladolid (Maya name Zací-Val) is a modern day quaint town in the state of Yucatan Mexico, but use to a early spanish town, and before that a booming Maya town. We stayed here for a week on our trip through Mexico!
Puerto Morelos
We just finished our time in Porto Moralos and it was beautiful! We were joined on this section of the trip by Randi's Dad and spent a week relaxing on the beach!

Lost Creek Wilderness
Great backpacking location right on the colorado Trail accessible from denver
Crested Butte to Crystal Mills via Schofield Pass
the location. This hike is a difficult down then return uphill trek. The varied terrain, ranging from woods, aspens groves, canyons, and meadows make it well worth the journey.
Shavano/Tabeguache Traverse
A lovely hike with a fun group of friends. Both peaks are class 2, largely due to the steep grade and rock-steps at the summits
Missouri Mountain
Enjoyable as an overnite trip for sure
